Privacy, in plain language.
Compute Pulse helps buyers and sellers find GPU capacity. We collect the information needed to run accounts, publish marketplace specifications, make introductions, prevent abuse, and send alerts you request. We do not sell personal information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Marketplace emails and handles are not displayed in public listings.
Our application code uses necessary authentication cookies, not advertising cookies.
Signed-in users can edit or remove the marketplace listings they created.
Information we collect
Account and identity information
When you sign in with Google or X, we receive information the provider makes available, such as your provider account identifier, name, email address, profile image, and login metadata. We use Supabase Auth to create and maintain your Compute Pulse account.
Marketplace and inquiry information
If you create a listing, offer capacity, submit an RFQ, or register interest, we collect the fields you submit. These may include your company, contact information, GPU model and quantity, region, pricing, availability, interconnect, contract preferences, workload, website, and notes.
Subscriptions and communications
If you request price alerts or marketplace updates, we collect your email address, language, subscriber type, GPU interests, alert threshold, confirmation status, and unsubscribe status. We also retain messages you send us and information needed to respond.
Technical and security information
Our hosting, authentication, and database providers may process IP addresses, browser and device information, request timestamps, cookies, and diagnostic logs. We also record marketplace submission timestamps and account identifiers to enforce submission limits and investigate abuse.
Public-source market information
We collect GPU offer and pricing information from provider websites, marketplace sources, and other public sources. This information generally concerns businesses and products, but may occasionally include business contact or attribution information.
How we use information
We use personal information to:
- authenticate users and keep marketplace activity tied to its creator;
- create, display, edit, and remove marketplace listings and inquiries;
- introduce interested buyers and sellers and respond to support requests;
- send confirmations, requested alerts, matching opportunities, and service messages;
- apply the three-buy and three-sell rolling seven-day submission limits;
- moderate submissions, secure the service, prevent spam, and troubleshoot failures;
- operate, maintain, measure, and improve Compute Pulse; and
- comply with law and protect the rights, safety, and integrity of users and the service.
Depending on where you live, we rely on performing our agreement with you, your consent, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, and compliance with legal obligations as the applicable bases for processing.
What is public—and what stays private
Marketplace specifications are designed to be shared. Information such as a listing name, company or attribution, GPU model and quantity, region, price, availability, contract terms, interconnect, and notes may be publicly visible and indexed by search engines. Do not put confidential information in those fields.
Contact information submitted in a dedicated contact field is kept out of the public listing. We may use it internally and disclose it to a relevant buyer or seller when facilitating an introduction you requested.
Retention and security
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, preserve marketplace records, enforce quotas, resolve disputes, meet legal obligations, and maintain security. Email suppression records may be retained after you unsubscribe so that we can honor that choice. Backup and security logs may persist for a limited period after information is removed from active systems.
We use access controls, authenticated ownership, row-level database protections, input validation, rate limits, and private contact fields to reduce risk. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee that unauthorized access will never occur.
Your choices and rights
- You can edit or remove listings you created from your account page.
- You can unsubscribe from marketing or alert emails using the link in each message.
- You can choose not to provide optional fields or not to use Google or X sign-in.
- You may ask to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, or object to or restrict certain processing, where applicable.
- You will not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising an applicable privacy right.
Send requests to harry@compute-pulse.com. We may need to verify your identity. Removing an account does not automatically remove content that was intentionally made public, so identify any published listing you also want removed.
Other important information
International processing
Compute Pulse and its providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live. Where required, we use appropriate mechanisms for international transfers.
Children
Compute Pulse is a business marketplace and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service changes. We will post the revised policy here and update the effective date. If a change materially affects how we use personal information, we will provide additional notice when appropriate.
